The Cannondale RZ One Twenty 3 is one of four RZ One Twenty models. They were released as an improved, shorter-travel version of the notorious RZ One Forty. In general, the One Twenty models are best suited for ultra-endurance riders.

The Twenty 3 is a lower-end unit in the group, as it features a weaker FSA V-Drive BB30 crankset, but does maintain its immediate predecessor's Schwalbe Rocket Ron Performance tires and Shimano/Deore derailleurs. Despite its shortcoming, the V-Drive crankset is light, narrow, stiff, and durable. The oversized alloy spindles and bearings press directly onto the BB shell for a weight saving of 12%. Universal across all models are the one-piece seat tube, BB shell, and lower pivot housing, which all have been three-dimensionally forged for superior strength.
