The Scalpel Carbon 1 is a performance mountain bike from Cannondale's Scalpel Series that is designed for XC racing. The bike is lighter in weight than the standard Scalpel bikes, featuring Cannondale's Scalpel Carbon frame with magnesium links and carbon layup.

It includes a Lefty Speed Carbon SL fork with a Fox Float RP32 rear shock for impact absorption. The Scalpel Carbon 1 has a drivetrain comprised of Shimano XT and XTR components along with Shimano XT disc brakes. It also offers Shimano XTR hubs and rims as well as Schwalbe Rocket Ron tires for traction and control. The bike is available in a glossy Nu Team Blue finish.
