The HI-MOD Ultimate is the best model in the Slice series, as it utilizes Cannondale’s notorious Hollowgram crankset. It features an integrated crank/bottom-bracket combination that is both light and stiff. It is in fact the most powerful crankset available from Crankset; it has claimed more than 40,000km of ride testing at the Sydney games. Included also in the HI-MOD Ultimate — as well as its peers — is the Slice Active Vibration Damping system, which soaks up ‘road buzz’ so that riders don’t have to. Note also the Slice Carbon frame, which is lightweight, but maintains a powerful stiffness-to-weight ratio.
