The Felt Breed is an upper mid-cost road bike. Felt promotes this single-speed as being ideal for purists who favor simplicity over all else. The Superlite 7005 aluminum frame is (as the name implies) very light, and geared specifically toward cyclocross racing.

This frame features forged horizontal dropouts with stainless steel inserts, for added durability. The bike's total weight is 18.27 pounds. The Breed's carbon fiber fork takes the edge off rough transitions, and also helps with durability. This fork is also geared specifically toward cyclocross racing. The handlebar of the Breed is 6061 aluminum. This bike is equipped with Tektro high profile Euro-style cantilever brakes, which are made with cyclocross in mind. The xR3 700c 24mm deep aluminum rims of the Breed are equipped with a CNC machined braking surface, which helps with your brake control. This bike differs from the higher cost F15X model in that the F15X has more heavy duty components, and is also more lightweight (17.62 pounds). The Felt Breed road bike comes in a matte black/blue finish.
