 The Giant Defy Alliance 1 is a high-end road bike fit for group rides, commuting, and hours-long trips on steep hills. As part of Giant's Defy Alliance 2009 series, the Defy Alliance 1 has an aluminum/composite frame, which is a combination of aluminum lower frame with a carbon fiber upper section.

The oversized head tube with matching fork provides a good feel for the road and excellent cornering precision. The Shimano 105 componentry with compact gears are made for quick, reliable shifts. The Defy Alliance 1 is available in Team Blue/Composite/Smoke.
