Product Shot 1The Giant Rapid 3 is an ultra-affordable mountain/racing bicycle designed for the budget-conscious rider. It features a CroMo fork, which offers the same weight benefits as similar carbon forks, but at a much lower price.

Included also is entry-level, 8-speed Shimano shifting with an FSA Tempo triple crankset. The shifting includes brifters that use the main lever to shift to larger sprockets, but sport a small thumb button to shift to smaller sprockets. They are designed with a reach adjustment, which makes them particularly friendly to cyclists with short fingers. Last to note are the Giant Sport Road rims with Formula hubs.
