It features Shimano 105 10-speed components. The 105 component group lies between an LX and XT component group, making it an entry-level racing/mountain bike. Although it lacks the extra-lightweight parts of a higher-grade component, users are at least granted smoothness and durability. Included also with the Advanced 1 is a Fi’zi:k Arione saddle and a Mavic Aksium Race wheelset. Ultimately, the Advanced 3 can be used comfortably for racing, but is not recommended for long-term and professional-level usage.
