Product Shot 1The XTC 29er 1 is a flagship hardtail mountain bike from Giant. For the 2010 version, the frame has been tweaked to increase rider performance. Compared to the XTC 29er 2, this hardtail bike comes equipped with higher-end components.

The Giant XTC 29er 1 is equipped with Avid Juicy 3 brakes as well as Shimano shifters and derailluers. This contributes to overall reliability, and swift shifting capabilities. The wheels utilize Giant’s own Tracker hubs and P29 rims. The fork is of the Fox 32 F29 RL-100 variety, with 100mm suspension. This suspension size is relatively uncommon on 29” wheeled bikes. The bike also features Giant’s Connect SL components with color-coded trim and a Fi'zi:k Tundra saddle. 29” Kenda Karma tires are also included, with stainless steel spokes. The Giant XTC 29er 1 has a MSRP $2125.
