Product Shot 1The XTC 29er 2 is the lower-cost model of the 29” hardtail mountain bikes from Giant. For the 2010 version, the frame has been tweaked to increase rider performance. Compared to the XTC 29er 1, this hardtail bike comes equipped with more value-oriented components.

The Giant XTC 29er 2 is equipped with Shimano Alivio brakes plus Shimano Deore shifters and derailluers. This contributes to overall reliability, and swift shifting capabilities. The wheels utilize Giant’s own Tracker hubs and P29 rims. The fork is of the Marzocchi Forty-Niner TST2 variety, with 100mm suspension. This suspension size is relatively uncommon on 29” wheeled bikes. The bike also features Giant’s Connect SL components with color-coded trim and a Performance MTB saddle. 29” Kenda Karma tires are also included, with stainless steel spokes. The Giant XTC 29er 2 has a MSRP $1350.
