The Haro 400 Series are the second to the top of the line, the 500 Series, released by Haro in the fall of 2010 along with 100 through 300 series BMX style bikes. The 300's offered a partial chromoly frame and fork, as well as chromoly crankset, while the 400 series has a full chromoly frame, fork, handlebar and crankset, which is a stronger and lighter material than the Hi-tensile steel frame found in the 100 and 200's.

The grips have also been upgraded from Haro's to Counterfeit's and the tires have gone from the Kendal Kontacts found on previous series to Odyssey Aitkin's. Like the other series, there are a choice of three models and two to three colors for each model, each defined by either a .1, .2 or .3 after the 400. The .1's have no pegs on the axles nor do they have a rotor style brake cable allowing for handlebar spins, while the .2's have the rotor and one pair of pegs on the right side and the .3's have both the rotor and 2 pair of pegs. This series has seen an upgrade in the rotor to a WinZip brand from the standard ende rotors found in lower series. See related products below for the other Haro series.
