Both of these have low travel. The component set is a mix of entry-level components, though the drivetrain is entirely Shimano Alivio. Tektro mechanical disc brakes and levers are on both the front and back. Jamis proprietary stem, bars, saddle and seatpost complete the frame. This bike's wheelset uses Formula hubs, Alexrims, and Geax Mezcal tires. This bike targets those who want to get into mountain biking but want a set of name-brand components on their ride.
