The Dakota dXC Race sports a Kinesis Superlight 7005 triple-butted aluminum main tube frame with carbon fiber monostay, 26" wheels and Shimano M445 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors.
The Dakota dXC Race's Kinesis Superlight 7005 triple-butted aluminum main tube frame provides high-performance mountain biking performance due to its geometry while its aluminum construction allows for easier geometry tweaking than with carbon fiber frames. Due to its tweak-able aluminum frame, the Dakota dXC Race is available in geometries aimed at both men and women. Meanwhile, the Dakota dXC Race's Shimano M445 hydraulic disc brakes ensure consistent brake performance, even in wet weather.
