The frame material choice is a matter of preference, though steel is rigid and resilient compared to aluminum, and heavier than carbon. The front suspension is a Fox 32FRL. Essentially the entire component group and drivetrain is Shimano Deore XT, including cranks and bottom bracket. Ritchey stem, seatpost, and handlebars complete the frame. The Dragon Pro has sealed cartridge hubs, Mavic disc rims, and Geax Mezcal tires.
