Product Shot 1 The 2011 Durango 3 is an entry-level Jamis mountain bike, and the most advanced model in the budget Durango lineup. Its intended purpose is all-around mountain biking or trail riding, though not of the extreme variety due to it being a hardtail.

This bike has an aluminum alloy frame and a RockShox Tora front suspension. It has hydraulic Hayes disc brakes and levers and SRAM X7 shifters and derailleurs, as well as a SRAM bottom bracket and crank arms. The seatpost, handlebars, stem and saddle are all Jamis components. This bike's wheelset uses Alex rims, Geax tires and Shimano disc hubs. This bike has a low price point and is somewhat heavy, though it weighs less than and its components are better than the Durango 1 and 2 models below it.
