One main feature is that the frame uses Kona's unique "Magic Link" design that constantly adjusts frame geometry to increase efficiency based on terrain conditions, without adjustment to either suspension. The 2010 model also had this feature, and indeed most components are the same. The main differences are that this one uses Avid Elixir R brake calipers and Avid G3 Clean Sweep rotors instead of Shimano SLX, and the wheelset is Easton Haven instead of 2010's Shimano XT. This is the lightest of the XC Dual Suspension bikes, weighing just over 28 pounds. Note that this bike is intended specifically for All-Mountain usage.
