The back end of the Magic Link suspension system keeps the front auxiliary shock from engaging on climbs, allowing for better power transfer. On descents, the Magic Link enables riders to position themselves further behind the bike for a lowered center of gravity and increased sense of stability. Compared to the standard Kona Coilair, this version features higher end components such as a Fox 36 Float RC2 Taper ST fork and a variety of Hammerschmidt , Sram, Shimano and Mavic parts. The Kona Coilair Deluxe is available in frame sizes ranging from 15” to 20”, all of which feature an aluminum hydroformed construction.
