It has basic components on an aluminum frame (the same frame for the other Hardtail XCs) and a RockShox Dart 1 front suspension, like the 2010 model. This bike has Altus shifters and an Acera front derailleur with an Alivio rear. The rims are from a different manufacturer, Shining, and the tires are Vittoria. Many of the components are of similar quality with different build than the previous year's, the only real exceptions being FSA cranks (instead of Suntour) and Shimano M445 hydraulic disc brakes. This bike has a low price point.
