Kona Jake The Snake

Kona Jake the Snake is a mid-range commuter/racing bicycle very similar to the Kona Jake. Jake the Snake boasts a number of improved components over the Jake, such as Kore Race brakes (as opposed to the Jake's Kore Sport brakes) and a Shimano 105 drivetrain (as opposed to the Jake's Shimano Tiagra).

Otherwise, though, the Jake and Jake the Snake sport the same features, such as a 7005 aluminum frame and a compact rear triangle.

Jake the Snake's improved components provide it with greater performance and durability while its 7005 aluminum frame is strong, lightweight and built to last, having been designed with long distance street cycling in mind. Additionally, Jake the Snake's utilizes short chain stays and seat stays in order to achieve a perfect balance of stability and power transfer when out of the saddle as well as faster acceleration.
