Kona Lana'I (2011)

 Kona's Lana'I 2011 model is the most basic of the entry-level Hardtail XC lineup, and accordingly has a low price point. It has the same 7005 aluminum frame as the other Hardtail XC models, and uses a Suntour XCT front suspension.

The fork is an upgrade over the 2010 model, and has a wider range of travel. The cranks are also FSA instead of Suntour. Many of the other components are the same, including Shimano Altus derailleurs, Shimano EZ Fire integrated shifters, and Tektro M530 disc brakes. Most of the other components are Kona in-house parts. Shining rims and Kenda tires make up the wheels. This bike is intended for those on a budget or new to XC.
