Product Shot 1The Kona Stinky TL (2011) is the base model in this line of out of bounds/freeride mountain bikes. This bike is equipped with an aluminum frame geared toward durability. Aiding in durability is Kona's 4-bar linkage dual suspension system, which has separated pivots to create a stiff rear end.

 This model is a step down from the next-in-line Operator FR (2011) in that the Operator FR (2011) has a Fox Van rear shock (for enhanced shock absorption over the Stinky TL (2011) model's Fastrax shock), and has Avid Code R brakes (which belong to a higher price bracket and are generally more powerful than the Stinky TL (2011) model's Avid Elixir 5 brakes).
