Mongoose Maxim

$240.99 Released May, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Very fair price point for the quality. Pretty durable--can stand up well to consistent tough use. Will offer similar performance to a much more expensive bike with proper and frequent maintenance.

The Cons:Requires a fair amount of tweaking out of the box for optimal performance. Assembly instructions are overly complicated. Nor room for a bottle cage or frame pump.

The Maxim's aluminum alloy dual-suspension frame allows it to handle tougher terrain as the front and rear suspension systems effectively absorb even heavier bumps and jostles, ensuring a more comfortable off-trail ride.
