Norco Charger (2011)

The 2011 Charger is lower mid-range member of Norco's XC Hardtails line of lightweight racing mountain bikes designed to offer competitive racing components and lasting durability against riding through all terrains.

Falling exactly midway in the lineup's non-carbon offerings, the Charger features a custom hydroformed double butted 6061 alloy frame, providing a rugged stiffness and allowing the entire bike to weigh in just under 30 pounds. The RockShox Tora TK w/ 100mm travel fork dampens the jarring bumps from difficult terrain while maintaining the ability to feel the ride enough to provide intuitive and responsive handling. A Shimano 27-speed drivetrain and derailleur combination provide optimized component communication for smoother shifting and minimized energy waste.
