Product Shot 1 Norco's Faze 1 is a higher end mountain bike intended mainly for XC, single track and trail riding. It uses the same aluminum frame as the Faze SL model above it, but its components are largely different.

Still, this bike features upper end Fox front and rear suspensions, and fits the same niche in intended use. The drivetrain is a mix of Shimano XT, XTR and SLX parts and the crankset is Shimano 552. The rear stays have a moulded carbon link, and the head angle is 69 degrees, suited for trail conditions. The brakes on this model are hydraulic disc (Avid Elixer R) instead of the SL's Shimano. This bike is recommended for experienced or competitive trail cyclists.
