Product Shot 1 Norco's Katmandu 2011 model is an entry-level mountain bike intended mainly for use on trails. It falls on the low end of hte BC Trail lineup, though it should be noted that the individual models have different uses.

Its frame has trail geometry and is made of aluminum, and it uses a Suntour front suspension with 100mm of travel. The components are entry-level as well, including a SRAM X3 set of shifters and rear derailleur, Truvativ Blaze crankset, and Suntour front derailleur. This bike has 26 inch Norco house rims and Norco hubs. There are front and rear disc brakes. This bike is fairly heavy, weighing in over 33 pounds.
