Norco Team Carbon (2011)

$7,315.00 Released January, 2011

Product Shot 1 Norco's Team Carbon 2011 model is the flagship model in the hardtail XC lineup, and it has a very high price point, almost twice that of the model below it (the Torrent Carbon). One reason for this is that the frame itself is made entirely of carbon, another is a unique design process that smoothens the internal sides of the tubes and greatly strengthens regions of the frame that typically come under high stress.

All of the components on this bike are top-of-the-line, including a full Shimano XTR drivetrain and brake set, Easton rims compatible with tubeless tires, Easton hubs and Sapim DB spokes. The front suspension is RockShox' Sid WC XX with 100mm of travel. While it does not have a rear suspension, this bike is versatile and performs equally well during XC racing, trail riding, and single track riding. Its lightweight components and frame make this the lightest Norco mountain bike commercially available, weighing in at just 20 pounds.
