Norco Torrent Carbon (2011)
$3,335.00
Released January, 2011
Norco's Torrent Carbon 2011 is a high-end hardtail mountain bike and the second from the top in the XC Hardtail lineup. Its high price point comes largely due to a full carbon frame and high-end components.

Its frame does not feature the more advanced stress-point fortification technology that the Torrent Team (the flagship) does, but the two bikes fulfill the same intended purpose. They perform very well in XC racing, trail, and single track conditions. This model has a Shimano SLX drivetrain with the exception of an XT Shadow rear derailleur, and uses Avid Elixir R hydraulic disc brakes on the front and back. It uses higher-end Easton rims and has a RockShox SID RLT front suspension. This model is very lightweight relative to most other Norco mountain bikes.
