The Schwinn 2010 World GS is the mid model in Schwinn's World series of commuter bikes. The World GS is ideal for the rider who commutes or runs errands on a fairly regular basis. It features a 24-speed drivetrain with Shimano easy-fire trigger shifters and Shimano rear/front derailleurs and uses ProMax linear pull brakes on the front and rear wheels with Shimano brake levers.

For a comfortable ride it features a SR Suntour NEX 4110 suspension fork with 50mm travel, Schwinn Comfort-Tuned Plus gel saddle and Bio-Tuned grips. There are several commuter convenience features such as rear alloy rack, kickstand, bell, full chain cover to protect your pants and front and rear fenders to keep you dry and clean. Other components include Alex ACE 17 double wall alloy rims, resin comfort pedals and 700x38C Schwinn Approved city tread tires. It is built using a light Schwinn N'Litened Aluminum frame and is available in a women's model which features a lowstep frame.
