Specialized Allez Double

$740.00 Released August, 2010

Product Shot 1The Specialized Allez Double is a low-cost road bike. This is similar to the Specialized Allez Triple, but uses two chain rings on the front sprocket of the Shimano crankset rather than three. Otherwise they are the same, using a bowed top tube and oversized alloy construction in the frame and ergonomic short drop aluminum handlebars.

The frame is made of A1 Premium Aluminum that is made stiff to transfer energy better. This works with a FACT carbon/alloy fork for more accurate steering and some absorption of bumps for better comfort. The stem is shim-adjustable with a 31.8 mm bar clamp. The 8-speed Shimano shifters are designed for ergonomics to enable comfortable shifting.
