Specialized BigHit I

$1,750.00 Released July, 2009

Product Shot 1The Specialized BigHit I is a bike designed for Freeride and Downhill riding. This uses the same A1 Premium Aluminum chassis as seen in the Specialized BigHit II and Specialized BigHit III, but uses a cheaper fork and shock, and doesn't have some of the advanced components seen in the latest model.

ORE top tubes and down tubes are used for better handling and low weight, and cartridge bearings are used at all pivots to enable some customization of the geometry. 26 inch wheels are set with 7.5 inches of travel for better control, and a Fox Vanilla rear coil shock is used for impact absorption. Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic disc brakes are used for power and reliability. This bike comes in Satin or Gloss Tan/Black finishes.
