M5 Manipulated Alloy makes the frame strong but relatively light, and a number of protectors are built in to keep components safe. A Fox DHX 4.0 coil rear shock converts downward impacts to forward momentum and features bottom out control to prevent damage on hard impacts. The fork is a Rockshox Totem IS coil spring design that has adjustable rebound to suit the rider. The tires are Specialized Chunder SX 24 x 2.3 inch, and are designed to grip the surface as well as mold to it.
