It includes Avid Elixir R hydraulic brakes with long-lasting metallic pads for smooth braking control. The Epic Expert has a full suspension system with an enhanced AFR inertia rear shock and a damper made with Specialized and Fox parts. It also has wide DT Swiss rims and S-Works tires for traction and control. The bike is available in a black/charcoal or white color and has a suggested retail price of $3300. Specialized also makes the Epic Expert Carbon which has a similar design but differs in some of the components.
