The Tarmac Elite is a performance road bike from Specialized's Tarmac series that is designed to provide handling and high performance on the road. The bike features a Body Geometry Toupe saddle and a Tarmac FACT carbon frame, making it lightweight and very rigid.

It includes a FACT Comp carbon Pave seatpost that has a Zertz insert which provides a more comfortable ride by reducing vibrations. The Tarmac Elite has a drivetrain made with Shimano parts as well as lightweight and ergonomic alloy handlebars for comfort and easy manuevering. It also features an adjustable 3D-forged alloy stem that can be set to four different positions to suit the rider. The bike is available in white/carbon or carbon color and has a suggested retail price of $2200. Specialized also makes the Tarmac Elite Compact which shares most of the same components but has a lighter crankset and seatpost.
