  It is an upgrade to the 4300 since it features a drivetrain made with full Shimano parts  and has powerful Avid disc brakes.  The Trek 4500 also offers a Bontrager wheelset for traction at high speeds and has a 100mm  suspension fork for shock absorption.  The bike is available with disc brakes has a suggested retail price of $729.
