Trek Cobia

The Trek Cobia is a high-end mountain bike. It is designed for serious bikers who travel frequently on off road terrain. It features Shimano M475 hubs, an SRAM X.5 shifter, and a Shimano Alivio crank. The Shimano M475 hubs use ribber contact seals to prevent rust causing water from reaching the bearings, making the mountain bike itself more durable out in the rain.

The SRAM X.5 shifter gives the Cobia nine speeds, as well as an integrated quick view gear indicator, making it easier for a rider to tell what gear they've selected, even while they're riding. The Cobria's Shimano Alvio crank uses a braking system known as V-Brake, which allows stopping to be more responsive and more efficient. When compared to another Trek mountain bike, the Tarpon, the Cobia has several superior components, such as the shifter (nine speeds compared to seven) and the tires.
