Product Shot 1The Trek Equinox TTX 9.8 is a road bike built to maximize both aerodynamics and lightweight components. This bike is the first in the Equinox TTX series to use an OCLV Red Carbon frame, making it lighter and more durable.

It also uses Bontrager Aeolus 5.0 ACC wheels for increased aerodynamics, and has a drivetrain largely made up of SRAM Force parts.

Most of the components have been switched to lighter-weight Bontrager Race quivalents for this model. It does, however, have the same components all Trek Equinox TTX 9 series bikes share, including a Bontrager Race Lite TT saddle and a Cane Creek IS-2 headset integrated with cartridge bearings.
