Bontrager Approved alloy rims are included with reinforced alloy hubs help to maintain consistent wheel rotation, housed by a set of low-profile Bontrager T1 tires. A set of 8-speed STI gear shifters appear courtesy of Shimano's 2300 series, which also provides the Lexa's front and rear derailleurs. Additional resistance is controlled via an 8-speed Sun Race cassette, while an FSA Tempo crankset offers quick response in high-risk applications. The bike's Bontrager Affinity 1 WSD saddle is reinforced with steel rails for long-lasting durability, with an offset SSR-series seat post offering 12 millimeters of adjustability for improved comfort. In addition the Lexa features a pair of dual-pivot brakes that work alongside the Shimano 2300 STI components, incorporating adjustable-reach levels for ultra-responsive stopping in emergency situations.
