Product Shot 1The Trek Paragon is a bike conceptualized by Gary Fisher and built by Trek as part of the Gary Fisher Collection. It has the same features as the Trek Carbon Superfly, but it instead has a 29er Pro Aluminum lightweight frame, made from 6066 butted & hydroformed aluminum.

Where to Buy

It has 10-speeds and an SRAM X.7 shifer, with a Shimano crank and cassette. The tires are Bontrager 29-2, and are one large size, no matter the size of the bike, which is available in 15" through 23" sizes. Because the bike is a hardtail, it achieves a faster response than other Trek bikes. It does not come with pedals. Due to its medium price, it is good for people looking for a multispeed mountain bike, but who are not willing to pay the higher prices and are therefore willing to compromise some in terms of build and features, such as the lack of a dropout. It will be first available in winter 2010.
