A tapered head tube is included to provide greater aerodynamic response for increased agility, while a set of oversized pivot bearings help to keep the bike firmly grounded in high-speed applications. The Fox company has contributed front and rear suspension to the Remedy 9, with a tapered steering mechanism fixed on the front of the unit for maximum steering response. DT Swiss M 32-hole wheels provide further sturdiness and offer tubeless tire compatibility for smoother trail riding, with a set of heavy-duty Bontrager XR3 Team tires for long-lasting use on rough terrain. Drivetrain components are handled exclusively by products from Shimano's Deore line, including a 10-speed shifter for adding and reducing traction whenever necessary. Additional components include Bontrager's Race Lite Low Riser handlebars for low-gravity balance, and a set of Avid Elixir CR hydraulic disc brakes for powerful stopping response.
