The Kammtail Virtual Foil tube design is light and stiff, giving it better steering and handling capabilities. The Speed Concept 7.2 model is equipped with Bontrager Race wheels and Bontrager R2, 700x23c tires, which are ideal for achieving top speeds. Trek incorporates the SRAM Rival drivetrain into the 7.2's design, and includes the SRAM 500 TT shifters with bar end control, allowing the rider to shift gears with minimal added effort. This Trek model also includes an integrated headset, as well as an integrated rear brake with an alloy dual-pivot front brake. As with all of the Trek models, the Speed Concept 7.2 is fully customizable through Trek's Project One program.
